Find out how we help children reach their full potential

Opening hours

We are open at both nurseries from 08:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday.

We are closed on Bank Holidays and on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.

If we are closed unexpectedly for any other reason, such as heavy snow, you will be notified by text.

Curriculum etc etc...

At both of our settings we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Planning is child led and child initiated with focused activities planned to support the children’s individual interests. Children choose topical themes which help to stimulate their imagination and creativity.

All of the children have access to an exciting range of toys and resources on a daily basis which are selected to enhance their learning experiences in a creative and challenging environment. Our rooms are big, bright and airy with an unusual amount of floor space and are decorated to ensure the children feel cosy and secure.

We are fortunate enough to have large outdoor play areas, designed and equipped to stimulate and encourage our little explorers.

We also offer lots of extra curricular activities such as sport and dance tuition as well as lots of interesting trips and visits throughout the year.

Health & Well Being

The children are supported by a Key Worker who will get to know you and your child very well. Their role is to ensure your child’s individual needs are met and that their Health and Well Being is supported through a process of observation and assessment. A child’s Key Worker is their primary carer and role model whilst they are at nursery, they will provide numerous opportunities for your child to experience a wide range of activities which will help to develop their Personal, Social and Emotional needs as well as their Physical Developmental needs in order to promote Cognitive Skills. You will meet with your child’s Key Person regularly, most often at drop off and collections when information about their day will be shared.

Your child’s portfolio (Learning Journey) will be given to you when they eventually must leave us, this is not only a wonderful keepsake but will also help them as they move on to their next educational adventure.

Hola, beunos dias !

Menus

Healthy and nutritionally balanced meals and snacks provided by our experienced and much loved resident Cooks are incorporated into the daily routines appropriate to the children’s age and stage of development.

Meals are produced in general on a four week rota to maintain interest which is updated regularly. We expect parents to encourage children to try the wide variety of foods on offer as our meals have been planned to provide a balance of nutrients and five a day fruit and vegetables needed by a growing child.

We are able to cater for specific dietary requirements and you will be asked about these during your pre-registration nursery visit.

Details of the daily menus are displayed on our menu board.

Fees

Our nurseries lead the way by providing high quality, affordable childcare created specifically to meet the varied needs of our families. We believe that top quality childcare shouldn’t cost the earth and we want our provision to be accessible to all. Contact us to discuss our prices and I am sure you will agree!

Funded care for 2, 3 and 4 years olds is available and various ways in which you can access this will be discussed on application.

We offer two types of Day Care: Full Day (9am - 3pm) & Extended Day (8am - 6pm)

Additional hours are available on request for those unplanned events, subject to availability of course.

Tax Free Childcare is available at this setting.
